Invalid MAC Address During Activation

Some customers have reported seeing an "Invalid MAC Address" error displayed on the control panel screen when attempting to activate a generator. Activating a generator is required to run the unit in auto mode. Activation also begins the generator warranty. For more information, see: How Do I Activate My Home Standby Generator?

Environment

This issue has been observed when attempting to activate a home standby generator that has an Evolution controller.
