Low Battery, Code 2750

This error indicates that the battery requires charging.

Environment

This article applies to Generac home standby generators.

Troubleshooting

To make sure that the battery in your generator works correctly, it should be checked for its voltage. This is done by comparing the DC voltage readings on the battery and the generator's controller. If the battery doesn't measure as having at least 12.5 VDC, Give the battery 24 hours to charge.

  • If charging for 24 hours does not resolve the issue, then the battery may require replacement.
  • If the voltage is over 12.5 VDC, check the battery charger for proper operation.

Additionally, performing a hard reset may clear this error. See How Do I Perform a Hard Reset on a Home Standby System? for more information.

If this error code persists, a service visit from a local dealer may be required. See How Can I Find a Generac Service Dealer in My Area? for more information.
