Pump output is affected by the length, and size of the suction and discharge hoses, as well as the total head and vertical suction lift. The total height from the source of the water to the destination or drainage point is the maximum head lift. As this distance increases, the pump output decreases. Max head lift ranges from 80 ft. – 149 ft. depending on the model.

Note: For every increase of 1000 ft. above sea level, the total head is reduced by about 10 in.
