All combustion-engine generators are for outdoor use only. There are no exceptions. Generators emit harmful carbon monoxide through their exhaust which becomes deadly when allowed to build up in an enclosed area. Carbon monoxide's composition allows it to build up to dangerous levels before exiting through any ventilation even if a generator is run in a room with open windows.

Note that the GB1000 and GB2000 power stations do not produce power using a combustion engine, and therefore are safe for indoor use.
