Valve adjustments on standby generators

How do I know if my generator has hydraulic lifters?

Valve lash is not required on 14 or 18 kW units with 816cc engines (Guardian series) because they have hydraulic lifters. It is also not required for all models of Next Generation Air-Cooled Standby generators (10-28 kW 459cc, 817cc, and 997cc engine sizes).
