What Is a Pressure Washer's "PSI" and "GPM", and Why Are They Important?

PSI stands for "pounds per square inch" and refers to the pressure of the water as it leaves the pressure washer. GPM stands for "gallons per minute" and describes the amount of water flowing through the pressure washer. Multiplying these numbers gives the "cleaning power" provided by a pressure washer.
