What Is a Watt?

A watt is a unit of measurement for power, which is the rate at which energy is used or produced. It measures how much energy is used or produced per unit of time. For example, if you turn on a 100-watt light bulb, it will use 100 watts of power per second. The higher the wattage, the more power is being used or produced.
