Warranty Overview

The warranty starts on the date of purchase. The unit MUST be registered and/or proof of purchase available.
 

Warranty Limitations

• Parts are typically covered for the full length of the warranty. However, special limitations may apply. For example, the pump is not covered under year two of the warranty for residential pressure washers.
• Labor is typically covered for the first 1 – 2 years of the warranty. Parts only may be covered in the remainder of the warranty.
• Travel (pickup or delivery of the unit) is NOT covered for portable products. The consumer must bring the unit to a dealer for repairs.
• Consumer applications have the longest warranty time frame. Consumer means personal household or recreational use. 
• Commercial/Rental applications usually have a shorter warranty time frame and hour limitation. Once a unit has experienced commercial/rental use, it will subsequently be considered non-consumer use. Note, any use of a residential pressure washer in a commercial or rental application will void the warranty.

• Repairs MUST be performed by an Independent Authorized Generac Service Dealer. To locate the nearest dealer visit our website: www.Generac.com.
• The warranty is non-transferable from the original owner.
• Damage due to the use of non-OEM parts is not covered.
• Proof of all required maintenance must be available.

Items Not Covered Under Warranty

The following will NOT be covered by these warranties.

• Costs of maintenance.
• Damage due to accidents, shipping, handling, or improper storage.
• Damage caused by operation with improper fuels, speeds, loads, or installations.
• Failures due to normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, rodent, and/or insect infestation.
• Products that are modified or altered in a manner not authorized by Generac in writing.
• Batteries, fuses, light bulbs, engine fluids, and any related labor.
• Failures caused by an act of God, fire, theft, freezing, lightning, water, or any other matters beyond the manufacturer’s control.
