What can I do if Mobile Link says "Maintenance due"?

Generac's Mobile Link app sends maintenance due reminders and notifications to users, through both the app and the Maintenance History page. However, reminders will not appear on the generator dashboard or details page if the generator is in a fault, warning, disconnected, or turned off state. Generator owners can address maintenance notifications by reading the notification details and reviewing the information in the Maintenance History menu. Users with a paid subscription can dismiss maintenance warnings, but those with dealer-managed or free subscriptions cannot.

Maintenance due reminder in the Mobile Link app

Mobile Link will notify the user when a maintenance interval has been reached. Maintenance due reminders will also appear in the Maintenance History page. See: Viewing maintenance history in the Mobile Link app
 
Note: If the generator is in a Fault, Warning, Disconnected, or turned Off, the maintenance reminder will not show on the generator dashboard or details page. It will still be shown on the Maintenance History page until the maintenance has been completed.

Addressing maintenance notifications

Read the maintenance notification to gather details. Maintenance schedule information can be found in the Maintenance history menu or in your status history tab. Schedule A and B maintenance information is detailed in the generator user manual and in this knowledge base: 
 
Generator owners can contact their service dealer, or perform maintenance themselves if they feel comfortable doing so. 


Dismissing maintenance warnings from Mobile Link app

Mobile Link users with a paid subscription can dismiss maintenance warnings. Clearing maintenance warnings from the generator's control panel
