Canceling a Mobile Link subscription

Paid Mobile Link subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the selected plan. Canceling a subscription stops automatic renewal. The subscription remains active through the end of the current paid subscription period.

Environment

This article applies to Mobile Link customers with a paid subscription. The cancellation process depends on whether the subscription was purchased through the Mobile Link website, through the Mobile Link app using Apple or Google billing, or through an Independent Authorized Service Dealer (IASD).

How to cancel through the Mobile Link website

1. Open a web browser and sign in to the Mobile Link website.
2. Click your name in the upper-right corner of the page.
3. Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
4. Select Subscription on the left side of the screen.
5. Select Manage Plan.
6. Select YES, CANCEL MY PLAN.

Note: The Mobile Link EULA can also be accessed through a Mobile Link account. In the app, open the menu in the lower-right corner. On the Mobile Link website, the EULA is available at the bottom of the webpage.

How to cancel through the Mobile Link app

1. Open the Mobile Link app.
2. Tap Account in the lower-right corner.
3. Select Plan Details under the Subscription heading.
4. Tap Manage Plan.
5. Select I no longer want Premium Features.
6. Tap NEXT.
7. Tap Yes, Cancel My Plan.
8. Follow the prompts from the Apple App Store or Google Play billing process, as applicable.

Subscription cancellation details

Owner-paid Mobile Link subscriptions

  • Paid subscriptions may be canceled at any time
  • Subscriptions renew monthly or annually, depending on the selected plan
  • After cancellation, the subscription remains active through the end of the current paid subscription period and will not automatically renew
  • Mobile Link subscription payments are generally nonrefundable, and refunds or credits are not provided for partially used subscription periods. See Am I eligible for a refund if I cancel my service early? for additional information
  • Subscriptions purchased through the Mobile Link app using Apple or Google billing must be canceled using the applicable app store cancellation process

Dealer-managed subscriptions

  • Contact the servicing Independent Authorized Service Dealer (IASD) to cancel or make billing changes to a dealer-managed subscription
  • If a subscriber changes from an owner-paid subscription to a dealer-paid subscription, the remaining time on the owner-paid subscription does not transfer to the dealer-managed subscription. After the owner-paid subscription expires, the dealer manages subscription renewal moving forward
  • If the subscription was purchased through the Mobile Link website, follow the website cancellation instructions in this article
  • If the subscription was purchased through the Mobile Link app using Apple or Google billing, cancel the subscription using the applicable app store cancellation process
