This information applies to Mobile Link accounts with a credit card on file.

Mobile Link credit card expiration notices

Mobile Link may send credit card expiration notices when a credit card is saved to the account, even if the subscription is not currently active. Two email reminders are sent to the login email on file during the month the card expires.

If you are currently on a basic plan or a dealer-managed subscription, you can disregard the email. Basic plans do not have a subscription charge, and dealer-managed billing is handled by your dealer.

Notifications are sent 14 days and 7 days before the end of the expiration month to provide time to update the card. Updating the card on file before the subscription due date helps prevent a lapse in service.

Checking your subscription type

Log in to the Mobile Link website and select the Subscriptions tab. The subscription type should indicate whether the account is on a basic plan or dealer-managed plan.

If the account is on either type of plan, you can disregard the expiration notice. If a different subscription type appears, such as single home premium, and the screen shows a visible card and pricing, the account is on a paid subscription through Mobile Link and the card information should be updated.
