An Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) is a sudden burst of electromagnetic energy. These bursts can disrupt or entirely disable electrical components. At this time, Generac does not perform testing to observe the effects of an EMP on its generators or claim to design its generators to withstand an EMP.
