How to remove a product from your Mobile Link account
Environment
You may need to remove a product from your account if you no longer own it, such as after selling your home. This can be done directly through your account or by contacting Generac Customer Support.
Removing a product from your account via the website
Follow these steps on app.mobilelinkgen.com:
- Log in to your account on the website.
- Click on your name in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Account settings.
- Click on the Subscription tab on the left-hand side.
- Select Manage plan.
- In the pop-up window, click "Remove one or more products" and then click Next.
- Check the box next to the product(s) you wish to remove.
- A confirmation window will appear. If the listed products are correct, click "Yes, remove products". To cancel, click "No, cancel".
- You will receive a confirmation message once the products have been successfully removed.
Removing a product via the Mobile Link app
- Tap the Account icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the Plan details tab.
- Tap Manage plan.
- In the pop-up window, tap "Remove one or more products" and then tap Next.
- Select the product(s) you wish to remove.
- A confirmation window will appear. If the listed products are correct, tap "Yes, remove products". To cancel, tap "No, cancel".
- You will receive a confirmation message once the products have been successfully removed.
Note: If the generator is subscribed to a Dealer-Managed Subscription, you must contact the managing dealer or Generac Customer Support to have the product removed from your account (this applies to generators and tank monitors).
