Upgrading from a Basic to a Premium Mobile Link subscription
Note: The paid subscriptions are only available in the US and Canada. If in Canada these prices are in USD, so you may see a Canadian rate exchange difference.
Environment
- This article applies to Mobile Link users who have not upgraded their free plan and are looking to do so, and are not on a dealer-managed plan.
- If you have a dealer-managed generator or fuel monitor, you will not see the options as described below. Reach out to your dealer to manage your plan.
- If your account address is outside of the US and Canada, you will not see the ability to upgrade.
To upgrade to a premium subscription using the Mobile Link Web Site:
1.Log into your Mobile Link account at https://app.mobilelinkgen.com/
2. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Click Account Settings in the drop-down menu.
4. Click the word Subscription on the left-hand side.
5. Click Upgrade to Premium.
6. Click Continue. You can expand the subscription name to see the features included in each option.
7. Click add payment method.
8. Click Pay Now. Visa, MasterCard, or American Express are accepted.
The billing address MUST match the billing address attached to the card (the card will be declined for AVS mismatch and/or not pass the verification of address attached to the card once you click Pay Now). To upgrade to a Premium subscription using the Mobile Link app:
1.Open your Mobile Link Application.
2. Login to your Mobile Link account.
3. Click on the account icon on the bottom menu in the application.
4. Click on the Plan Details option under the Subscription header.
5. Click on the Upgrade to Premium button.
6. Confirm the available Premium subscription option.
Note: Please note subscribing through the mobile application does cost more. Please visit app.mobilelinkgen.com for other subscription pricing.
7. Review the Subscription Terms. Please read the full subscription statement.
8. To continue, click I Understand and Agree.
9. Click Continue.
10. Follow the steps for in-app payment processes based on your phone OS (iOS or Android).
Note: The in-app payment processes will differ between Apple/Android.
