Quiet Test Mode
Quiet Test Mode (also referred to as Low Speed Exercise Mode) runs the generator at a lower RPM, which results in a quieter run. It is recommended to run the generator at full speed when exercising. This allows the engine oil to properly heat up. This option is not available on all models.
To enable Quiet Test Mode on a generator:
Quiet Test Mode is enabled within the EXERCISE TIME menu.
1. Press OFF.
2. Press ESC.
3. Arrow down to the Sub Menus and hit ENTER.
4. Arrow to the Edit menu and hit ENTER.
5. Arrow to the Exercise Time menu and hit ENTER.
6. Choose the exercise frequency and hit ENTER.
7. Toggle YES to enable QUIET TEST MODE? and hit ENTER.
Note: If the Quiet Test Mode option is not available, then the generator does not support this option.
To enable Quiet Test Mode through the Mobile Link App:
Quiet Test Mode can be enabled on generators with the PowerZone 200 (PZ200) controller remotely through the Mobile Link App. Please note that this is a feature available only to Premium subscribers: What are the available Mobile Link subscription plans?
