Mobile Link subscription plans

This article describes the premium subscription and basic features offered in the Mobile Link for Generators app. Pricing may not be up to date. To upgrade your plan, see the Upgrade page on the Mobile Link support site.

Hardware device & plan compatibility

Mobile link offers a basic set of features with limited functionality or a premium subscription option with more available features and functionalities. The Mobile Link device options are Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi/Ethernet, Connectivity Cellular Accessory (and the 4G LTE), and the Fuel Monitoring device.

Plan renewal, availability & cancellation

All subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected, and the renewal will be billed to the credit card on file at that time. Subscriptions are subject to sales tax and the cost is in USD. See Where Is Mobile Link Service Available? for more information.

Premium subscriptions are only available in the US and Canada; all other international customers are only eligible for the Basic subscription. For more information on fuel monitoring availability, see Where Is Mobile Link Service Available? 

Note: Any applicable taxes will be charged at time of the payment processing. If you are in Canada, you may also see a Canadian rate exchange difference with the charge.

Is the subscription per generator or account? 

Subscriptions are generator-specific rather than account-specific. 

Subscription features:

  • Premium monitoring allows you to enroll one generator and two fuel monitors per account and subscription. Up to two generators can be enrolled.
  • Annual Mobile Link subscriptions receive a 30-day reminder before renewal; monthly subscriptions do not receive a reminder. For dealer-managed subscriptions, check with your dealer for their specific renewal process.
  • Basic monitoring allows enrolling up to two generators and does not support fuel monitors.
Note: All generators on the same account must use the same subscription level. Mixing Basic and Premium plans is not supported.

I enroll via the web, can I still monitor in the app?
 

Yes! Whether you enroll via the web (app.mobilelinkgen.com) or enroll in the app store, you will still be able to monitor in the Mobile Link app. The only difference between web and app enrollment is the billing process.  


What if I have more than 2 generators or more than 4 fuel monitors?

If you do not fall into one of the above subscription plans, we recommend enrolling in a Dealer-Managed plan for the best monitoring experience, as the Mobile Link functionality does not support monitoring more than 2 generators and 4 fuel monitors in one account at this time. To get in touch with a dealer, fill out the service request form. Soon after, a dealer will contact you to discuss your monitoring needs. Dealer-Managed devices do not count towards the device threshold limit in a personal Mobile Link account, meaning you can have an unlimited number of devices in a Dealer-Managed plan.
