Installing the Generac Connectivity Cellular Accessory
This article provides complete instructions on how to install the Generac Connectivity Cellular Accessory on air-cooled and liquid cooled home standby generators with a compatible controller. Installation instructions
- Download this file for installation instructions.
- The installation process will vary depending on whether you have an air-cooled or liquid-cooled generator, and whether this is a Mobile Link device replacement or a new accessory installation.
When ordering a Connectivity Cellular Accessory kit (G0072150) for a Liquid-Cooled (LC) generator built before November 2024, you will need to order an additional harness (part number A0005166075). This applies to these generators:
- RG02515
- RG03015
- RG04845
- RG06045
- RG08045
- RG10090
- RD03022 (will also need G0064780/0K2231)
- QT series (can also use G0064780/0K2231)
For the RG130 and RG150, you will need a different harness A0005792571 due to the size of the generator. This applies to these generators:
The harness included with the Connectivity Cellular Accessory kit is A0005914366. This is not needed for these generators. This can be saved and used on LC gens.

How do I change the Mobile Link device in my Mobile Link account?
If you recently installed a replacement Mobile Link device on your generator and need to add it to your Mobile Link account, contact your preferred Generac dealer or Mobile Link Support (855-436-8439) with the device serial number and generator serial number.
Your dealer or Mobile Link Support will then update the device in your Mobile Link account.
