Discontinued Notice: The Wi-Fi/Ethernet accessory has been discontinued. Upgrading to the Connectivity Cellular Accessory is recommended for users who wish to add connectivity to their generator or users experiencing ongoing connectivity issues. It is compatible with more generators and uses multiple carrier networks to offer greater coverage. Basic (free) and Premium cellular plans are available for users of this device. See here to upgrade: Connectivity Cellular Accessory.
Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting
Wi-Fi networks can suffer from many failure points, and you may not notice this until you are proactively monitoring something that is connected to it (the generator is a great example). In some scenarios, you may notice that your generator is not able to maintain a stable Wi-Fi connection with your home's Wi-Fi network.

When should I contact my ISP?
There can be a variety of reasons this may occur, including but not limited to the items below. If you have concerns about your generator (or other devices) not maintaining a connection, we urge you to work with your internet service provider (ISP). Some causes are outside of the ISP’s control; however, they can identify certain issues (like line problems or router/modem malfunctions) that could be contributing factors.
Mobile Link connection details

- If the router and internet service fail to respond, Mobile Link will continue trying every 15 minutes.
- If no response is received within 3 hours, Mobile Link will switch from online to offline status.
- If enabled, the no signal notification is sent after 48 hours of no response from the router.
