Dealer designations in the Dealer Lookup tool

When using the Dealer Lookup tool on Generac.com, users can see information about a dealer. Dealers will be listed as PowerPro, Direct, Select, Elite, or Premiere. For more information about finding a nearby dealer, see: How Can I Find a Generac Service Dealer in My Area?

Direct, Select, Elite, and Premiere

These designations signify whether the dealer is authorized for sales/installation/maintenance only, or if they can also perform service/warranty work:

• Direct: Authorized for sales & installation only, and can perform basic preventative maintenance (oil, filters, etc.) but does not perform warranty work.
• Select: Can do sales, installation, and service/warranty on air-cooled residential Generac generators. 
• Elite: Can do sales, installation, and service/warranty on air-cooled residential Generac and Honeywell generators. Can perform warranty work on liquid-cooled residential & commercial generators up to 150kw. Provides 24hr emergency service.
• Premier: Can do sales, installation, and service/warranty on air-cooled residential Generac and Honeywell generators. Can perform warranty work on liquid-cooled residential & commercial generators up to 150kw. Provides 24hr emergency service.

PowerPro indicates they have earned the highest title within their ranking based on high customer satisfaction and other criteria.
 

Financing, Sales, Service

• Financing Dealers: Provide financing on new purchases
• Sales Dealers: Sell whole products, accessories, and kits
• Service Dealers: Certified to perform warranty work on Generac manufactured products including DeWALT, Honeywell, and Powermate. Service dealers can also sell replacement parts like carburetors, engines, and alternators.
