PowerZone 200 control panel overview
PowerZone 200 Control Panel

Introduced in April 2025, the Power Zone 200 controller is available on air-cooled generator models. It replaces the Evolution 2.0 controller and adds expanded remote control capabilities.
Which generators use this controller?
The Power Zone 200 controller is used on Next Generation Air-Cooled Standby generators.
What is the purpose of the Power Zone 200 controller?
The Power Zone 200 serves as the generator’s "brain", handling several key functions:
- Utility sensing (loss and reconnection)
- Starting and stopping the generator
- Power transfer
- Voltage regulation
- Exercise scheduling
- Battery charging
Physical differences
Unlike the Evolution and Nexus panels, which included a digital display, the PowerZone 200 does not have a screen.
Functionality
Operating modes: Auto, Manual, Off, and Service
- Auto: Automatically starts and powers the home when utility power is lost.
- Manual: Starts the engine but does not transfer power unless utility service fails.
- Off: The generator will not start, even if utility power is lost.
- Service mode: Allows the generator to remain off for maintenance or testing. Suppresses alerts and notifications during this time.
Connectivity options
The PowerZone 200 is compatible with the Cellular Connectivity device.
Applications
The primary tool for remote monitoring is the Mobile Link application. The Field Pro app also provides basic features for end users and advanced tools for technicians.
