Permission Levels in Field Pro

There are two different permission levels available in Field Pro for end users: Basic and Advanced. Basic users can setup and configure a unit (e.g. commission), while advanced users have access to more advanced generator settings in addition to commissioning permissions.

Basic Access

Basic users can complete the guided commissioning process and adjust settings such as startup delay, maintenance resets, exercise schedules, and cold smart start. These features are available to any Field Pro user that does not have an active Generac Air-Cooled Home Standby Service Certification.

Some features are restricted and accessible only to Advanced users. Contact an authorized service dealer for access.

Advanced Access

Advanced access is limited to users with an active Generac Air-Cooled Home Standby Service Certification and includes access to all available settings in addition to the Basic functionality. This includes the ability to configure 2-wire start, calibration settings, and the auxiliary emergency shutdown kit. Certified Generac installers can use their existing G360 credentials to access these features.
