Where can I get information about older (legacy) model generator?
Generally speaking, the older a generator model is, the harder it is to find documentation for it. This article is intended to provide guidance on where to find product documentation for older model generators. The first place to look for product documentation is on our product information page.
Generally speaking, legacy model Generac home standby generators include any generator manufactured prior to 2013. These generators can be identified by the Nexus or pre-Nexus controller styles shown below:

The most important thing to identify when looking for product information is the product's serial number. A model number is also helpful.
