The time and time zone in the status history do not match the generator's time zone

Environment

This article applies to the generator status history and Mobile Link status history.

The Mobile Link App and Website status history times are set to the same time zone as the end user's phone, tablet, or computer.

The generator's status history times that appear in Mobile Link are set by the generator's address, which is provided during enrollment (this may be the same or different as the billing address provided during account setup).

If the generator and phone are in two different time zones, the app will display the phone's time zone, not the generator's. If the end user has issues with the status history displaying the wrong time, check the time zone settings and try reapplying them.

Example: If you are viewing your account in Mobile Link in a different Time Zone (Eastern) but the generator is located in the Central Time Zone, the generator will operate according to the time zone it is installed in, but the status history in Mobile Link will be displayed to you in the time zone you are in (Eastern).
