Installing the Generac Connectivity Cellular Accessory

This article provides instructions to install the Generac Connectivity Cellular Accessory on air-cooled and liquid-cooled home standby generators with a compatible controller. To determine if a controller is compatible, see Mobile Link Wi-Fi, Cellular, and LTE device compatibility guide.

Installation instructions

• Download this file for installation instructions.
• The installation process varies depending on whether the generator is air-cooled or liquid-cooled, and whether this is a Mobile Link device replacement or a new accessory installation.

Harness requirements by generator model

Use the table below to determine whether an additional harness is needed when installing the Generac Connectivity Cellular Accessory (G0072150) on a liquid-cooled generator. If a harness is not required for your model, the harness included in the kit (A0005914366) can be saved for use on other liquid-cooled generators.

The harness included with the Connectivity Cellular Accessory kit is A0005914366. This is not needed for the generator models listed above.

How do I change the Mobile Link device in my Mobile Link account?

If a replacement Mobile Link device was installed and it needs to be added to a Mobile Link account, contact your preferred Generac dealer or Mobile Link Support at 855-436-8439 with the device serial number and generator serial number.

Your dealer or Mobile Link Support will then update the device in your Mobile Link account.
