Why am I getting an E2800 fault in Mobile Link?

If Mobile Link shows an E2800 fault, it means your generator has an Auxiliary/Emergency Shutdown Code 2800. This happens when at least one of the auxiliary or emergency shutdown switches is in the OFF position, also called the “open” position (|O|). This fault prevents the generator from starting or running automatically until the switches are reset and the code is cleared. 

 

Quick steps to clear the fault

  1. Set the generator to OFF to prevent it from starting while you work. 
  2. Set the Auxiliary/Emergency Shutdown switches to the CLOSED (ON) position.
  3. If your generator has an Evolution controller, Clear the error code from the control panel display.
  4. Refresh the Mobile Link for Generators app by pulling on the screen or by switching tabs within the app.
