Mobile Link Connectivity Accessory Warranty Claims

What is the process for a warranty claim?

Warranty claims require a device diagnosis by a Generac Independently Authorized Service Dealer (IASD). 

 

What should I do if I believe there is a warrantable defect with my Mobile Link Connectivity Accessory?

If an end-user believes their Mobile Link device is defective after performing initial troubleshooting, they should:
 

1. Locate proof of purchase documentation. 

  • The warranty for Mobile Link Connectivity Accessories are 1-year from the date of purchase. (Not installation)
2. Contact a Generac IASD for an on-site diagnosis.
  • Accessory devices must be diagnosed onsite by a Generac IASD while connected to the home standby system. Devices cannot be disconnected and sent independently for diagnosis, as they require holistic evaluation within the complete system.
 

What happens with the diagnosis?

The Generac IASD will communicate the diagnosis to a specialized Technical Services team at Generac Power Systems to initiate any warranty claims.
