How does a technician become an IASD?

To become a certified Generac Independent Authorized Service Dealer (IASD), a technician must first apply to become a dealer with Generac Power Systems. Once approved as a dealer, they will need to complete Generac's training program for service technicians. This program includes both online and hands-on training and covers topics such as installation, maintenance, and repair of Generac generators. Once they have completed the training program, they will need to pass a certification exam to become a certified IASD.
