Promotions can be redeemed by clicking the Select Promo button on any of the promotion pages. Submitters should be prepared to provide contact, address, and proof of purchase details.

Redeeming a Generac promo

Generac lists promotional offerings on its site at Generac.com. See the Where can I find out what current promotions are being offered? for more details. 
 
1. On the promotional page, click the Select Promo button.
2. Enter the generator's serial number. For more information, see the Where Can I Find the Serial Number on My Air or Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator? article.

Note: If owner information does not display, then the generator is likely not registered. See How Do I Activate My Home Standby Generator? for more information. If the displayed information is incorrect, contact Generac customer support.

3. Click Yes, Continue. 
4. Complete filling out owner details. If the location displayed is  different from the mailing address, update the address to reflect the desired location. Proof of purchase documentation can include a receipt or invoice with a qualifying purchase date. Generator owners should contact their installer if they do not have this information.

Note: If a picklist not found error occurs, this means the system does not recognize the address entered. See the Why am I getting a "Picklist not found" error when submitting for a promo? article for more information.

5. Click Submit. 
If the email address is correct, confirmation emails will be sent. Submitters should check their spam folder to ensure the email is not marked as spam. What if I missed the promo deadline because of delays from my installer?

If a homeowner missed the promotional period for Generac due to delays in their installation date, they should contact Generac's customer experience team to explain the situation and see what options are available. Generac offers promotions and rebates periodically, so depending on the specific promotion missed, there may be other opportunities to take advantage of these offers in the future.
