The Connectivity Cellular Accessory is Generac's next generation cellular connectivity device, designed to offer high signal reliability, robustness, and an easy installation process. This accessory is compatible with air-cooled and liquid-cooled generators operating on Cat-M1 technology and multiple carriers for US and Canadian coverage. It maintains the same hardware, subscription price, and enrollment process as its predecessor. This device replaces the discontinued Wi-Fi/Ethernet and 4G/LTE aftermarket accessories. Does the Connectivity Cellular device support Wi-Fi?

Yes! The connectivity cellular accessory supports Wi-Fi connectivity as a backup in the event the cellular connection fails. To set up Wi-Fi, the the device firmware and the Mobile Link app version must be update to the most current version. Where can I purchase the Generac Cellular Connectivity Accessory? 

Please contact your local Generac Independent Authorized Service Dealer (IASD) for availability. 

• How Can I Find a Generac Service Dealer in My Area?

When ordering a Connectivity Cellular Accessory kit (G0072150) for a Liquid-Cooled (LC) generator built before November 2024, you will need to order an additional harness (part number A0005166075). This applies to these generators:

• RG02515
• RG03015
• RG04845
• RG06045
• RG08045
• RG10090
• RD03022 (will also need G0064780/0K2231)
• QT series (can also use G0064780/0K2231)

For the RG130 and RG150, you will need a different harness A0005792571 due to the size of the generator. This applies to these generators:

• RG13090
• RG15090

For the RG03234, RG03824, RG04524, and RG06024 will use harness A0005166075

 

The harness included with the Connectivity Cellular Accessory kit is A0005914366. This is not needed for these generators. This can be saved and used on LC gens.

What Cellular Carriers are available in the US and Canada? 

• US carriers: Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, T-Mobile, Sprint 
  
• CA carriers: Rogers Wireless, Bell, and Telus

No, currently the Generac Connectivity Cellular Accessory is only available in US and Canada.

1 Year limited accessory warranty.
