Setting the lockout switch on the Generac Load Manager
This guide outlines how to set the lockout switch on the Load Manager. It covers lockout switch positions, how they are related to Utility or Generator Mode, and the functions of those modes and lockout switch positions.
Environment
This article applies to 50A and 100A Generac Load Managers. Previous versions of the Generac Load Manager were formally known as Smart Management Modules (SMM).

How to set the lockout switch on the Generac Load Manager
Lockout Switch: The initial switch to generator power will allow the load to operate until an overload condition occurs. If an overload occurs, the load will be locked out until the utility returns.
