The Mobile Link application allows owners to remotely monitor their Generac home standby generator, find support resources, manage exercise schedules, and view maintenance schedules and history.

Note: These instructions apply only to the mobile application available from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices. Mobile Link users who access the web application at app.mobilelinkgen.com do not need to install software.

Installing Mobile Link on an iOS device

To find and download Mobile Link on an iOS device:

1. Swipe down to open the search function, then type App Store.

2. Tap the App Store icon to open it.

3. Tap the Search icon.

4. Enter Mobile Link for Generators in the search bar.

5. Tap Get to install the application.

Installing Mobile Link on an Android device

1. Swipe up to access the search bar, then type Play Store.

2. Tap the Google Play icon to open it.

3. Search for Mobile Link for Generators.

4. Tap the application titled Mobile Link for Generators in the search results.

5. Tap Install.

Accessing the Mobile Link web application

• Mobile Link users can access their accounts through a web browser on a computer or tablet by visiting app.mobilelinkgen.com.
• Users who access the web application through an internet browser do not need to install or download software to view their generator details and status.
• Next Generation Series generators, 10 kW–28 kW, 2025–present: Generator status monitoring is currently available only through the Mobile Link mobile application for iOS and Android devices. Web browser monitoring through app.mobilelinkgen.com is not currently supported for these generators. Account management functions, including subscription and billing management, may still be available through the web application.

Troubleshooting
