Be sure to ask the current or previous owners when the unit was last serviced, if they have maintenance records, keys, owner's manuals, warranty status, and who installed it.

How to transfer ownership/registration 

After you purchase your new home, you will need to transfer ownership of the generator. The new owner should do this by calling Generac's 24/7 customer support at 888-436-3722.

Note: The serial number is on the generator. If it is locked, you will need keys to obtain access. 
 

How to obtain keys and manuals
