How do I submit a warranty claim for my Generac generator?

Read the manual thoroughly and understand all of the instructions, cautions, and warnings before using this equipment. If any section of the manual is not understood, contact your nearest authorized dealer, or contact Generac Customer Service at 1-888-436-3722 (1-888-GENERAC), or www.generac.com with any questions or concerns. 

Warranty claims

Warranty claims must be submitted through an independent authorized service dealer (IASD). Generac customer support cannot determine if a failure is covered under the generator's warranty. Contact information for local service dealers can be found using the dealer lookup tool on Generac.com. See the How Can I Find a Generac Service Dealer in My Area? article for more information.

Once a certified dealer has been contacted, they will inspect the equipment and submit the claim with the required documentation to Generac.
