Mobile Link sign-in troubleshooting

On April 21st 2026, your Mobile Link account transitioned to a unified login experience. We have moved to a new authentication provider to better protect you and your personal information, and to help simplify and secure how you access your connected home products. Depending on how your account is set up, you may need to take action—details are below. 

Important account information

If you only have a Mobile Link account

• Your Mobile Link sign-in has transitioned to a new authentication provider as part of this update. Now that your account has transitioned, you will be prompted to reset your password.
• If you need to reset your password, see: How do I change my Mobile Link password?
• If you need help finding the verification code, see: What if I didn't receive the verification code?

If you have both Mobile Link and ecobee accounts

• If you have both a Mobile Link and an ecobee account, deleting your account in either app will delete your accounts for both, and remove associated products (such as thermostats, generators, and fuel monitors).
• Do not delete your account to resolve sign-in issues unless deleting your accounts and removing products is your intended outcome.

If you are creating a new Mobile Link account

New Mobile Link accounts will be created using the new authentication provider.
